Nagasaki University participated in the kick-off meeting of CAMPUS Asia Program at MEXT.

The kick-off meeting of the “Inter-University Exchange Project – Support for the Formation of Collaborative Programs with Universities in Asia – CAMPUS Asia Program” was held at the meeting room of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) on Tuesday, 31 October, 2017. Prof. Akihide Tada (Vice President for International Exchange), accompanied by two administrative staff members, represented Nagasaki University and participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, the representative staff members of each selected university shared their good practices and discussed challenges and issues associated with the program implementation. The meeting was also joined by the staff of MEXT, the National Institution for Academic Degrees and Quality Enhancement of Higher Education, and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. For Nagasaki University, it was the first time to participate in such a meeting and a meaningful opportunity to help improve the ongoing and future program.
