Nagasaki University Participated in the Briefing Session for the Monitoring Program of the Inter-University Exchange Program, CAMPUS Asia
On May 30, 2018, Professor Tada, Vice President of International Affairs, participated in the web briefing session for the monitoring program with three staff members from the Graduate School of Engineering at Nagasaki University. Nagasaki University was unable to join the briefing session held by MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) and NIAD-QE (National Institution for Academic Degrees and Quality Enhancement of High Education) on May 24, 2018 in Tokyo, and this briefing session was specially organized to compensate the absence. The monitoring program for this year is planned around the nine programs, which are accepted as the secondary project of the Inter-University Exchange Program, promoted by MEXT. Government agencies in China, Japan, and Korea will cooperate and proceed three projects each. This monitoring system plays an essential role for improving the quality of the internationally corroborated educational system, and this is also a significant opportunity for us to look back on our accomplishments in the program. The Inter-University Exchange Project was incepted in 2016, and Nagasaki University launched a full-fledged inbound and outbound exchange program last year with the partner universities in China and Korea. The first monitoring program will be organized by Shandong University, China, and under the lead of Shandong University, Nagasaki University will cooperate with Sungkyukwan University, Korea, to compose a self-assessment report for CAMPAS Asia Monitoring Plus.
